Rohini Mundra claims you can work from anywhere in the world doing what you love. No boss, no one to answer to. And you can take your ten X money and turn it into one hundred X money. This isn’t some ponzi scheme she’s talking about. Rohini has been featured on Forbes, she’s done a TEDx Talk, she’s an author, and she’s worked with clients in every corner of the globe. Not only is she legit, she’s living her best life. Care to join her? Read on.
According to Rohini, most people just don’t know how to turn their dreams into reality. They need a path that they believe in. She suggests looking into the e-learning space. It’s exploding right now. A billion dollar plus industry that you can be a part of. Be it speaking, training, coaching, consulting, selling a course, anything. If you’d like to use your knowledge and experience and skills to impact others and get paid really well for it, Rohini has a step-by-step proven system you can use.
It’s her foundation for an Xtraordinary Life. “What meaning does the word extraordinary hold for you?” Rohini asks. “What significance does it have? What could you do that helps you feel extraordinary? I make it a point in my life to wake up every single morning and do something that I have not done before. Do something that defines me, do something that refines me. Do something that really becomes my own signature. If you’re happy when you wake up, that’s really cool. But if not, well, you still have the rest of the day.”
“Ask yourself a very simple question,” she continues. “How are you going to make your day extraordinary? How are you going to refine your life? What are you going to do that will make you who you are and that will make people look at you and go, ‘Hmm, what is the secret to this person?’ You need to live life on your terms because it’s nobody else’s life. Who gets to decide who lives life on who’s terms? I don’t get to decide that for you. You need to decide what kind of life you want to design.”
Rohini gets a little rambly when she preaches and tends to bounce from one cliche to the next. Her YouTube ad I just watched promotes a two hour interactive workshop where she’ll teach you how to become an Xtraordinary Coach. The cost is four hundred and ninety-nine rupees, which is like six bucks here in the U.S. Not bad at all, but at the end of that webinar, surely she’ll pitch you a multi-thousand dollar coaching program. So just be prepared for that if you do decide to attend.
In terms of the business model, though, she’s not wrong. Being a coach is a fantastic way to turn your passion into profit. Depending on your area of expertise and how you package it up, you can charge quite a bit. The margins are insanely high. Just a handful of sales a month would be enough to leave your day job. Courses and group coaching are infinitely scalable. There are unlimited buyers online. And ad platforms like Facebook, Google, and YouTube make it easy to target your dream clients.
What about the negatives? Well, there’s really only one. And that is: it’s freaking hard. Ask us how we know. There’s just so much you have to get good at in order to pull it off. It’s not just “I’ve got a really successful marriage so I’m gonna start a coaching program to help others do the same; at ten K a pop, I should be at one hundred K a month in no time.” Because now you have to figure out marketing and advertising and funnels and high ticket sales and onboarding and support and reputation management and the list goes on. Alls I’m saying is, it’s a lot.
