Dolmar Cross, nicknamed “The Automated Investor,” claims you can invest in houses, virtually, with no cash, credit, or experience. You don’t even need a real estate license. Dolmar Cross is a real estate investor, Inc. 500 entrepreneur, national speaker, husband, father of two, and social media influencer. He and his team have done thousands of real estate deals all over the United States. They feel as though they’re qualified to mentor others because they have a tremendous amount of experience investing in real estate, and they’re happy to prove it.
In a YouTube ad promoting his program, he said, “You see, right now, the world is in crisis. But you don’t have to be. There’s never been a better time to be an automated investor.” He goes on to say that he’s spent years creating an automated house flipping app that does all of the heavy lifting for you. No need to swing hammers, plunge toilets, or even figure out which properties you should pursue.
Nope, forget all that. Instead, Dolmar will show you how to earn passive paychecks connecting home sellers with buyers. Just pop open his app, do a simple search, and find discounted deals you can cash-in on all across the country. No boss. No schedule. No worries. “Our software takes all the hard work out of flipping houses fast,” Dolmar brags.
“My Automated Investment System allows you to do this from home, and online,” Dolmar reiterates. “All you need is a smart phone, a computer, and the internet. That’s it.” Once you’re a member, you’ll be able to make huge paydays from the comfort of home, even if you’ve never done a deal before. We’re talking $5k, $10k, even $20k or more in the next 30 days or less, Dolmar says.
Once you enter Dolmar’s funnel, you’ll have to sit through a painfully-long pitch before he finally pulls out all the stops to try and get you to buy his Automated Investor System right then and there. The price is heavily-discounted, but only if you act now. If so, it will only cost you $497 plus $97 per month for ongoing access to his app. Meh. The whole thing was just way too “slick” for my taste.
Dolmar Cross seems like more of a promoter than an active real estate investor. That doesn’t mean he can’t teach you a thing or two or that his app has no value, but I would never spend money with someone I don’t trust. Not when there are so many legitimate experts out there, who not only walk the walk but also market their programs without hype or seedy tactics. Pace Morby and Jamil Damji, for example.
Finally, I just think there are smarter business models. No matter how you slice it or what secret software you use, wholesaling and house flipping is a bit played out, is it not?
