Vishen Lakhiani has yet another Mindvalley masterclass to sell you. This one is called Indistractable. The host is Nir Eyal, a leading expert on habit formation and focus. The purpose of this masterclass is to rise above distractions, own your time, and regain peak focus and performance, no matter how crazy life gets. There’s a free seventy minute version which leads into the actual paid version. Cost is four hundred dollars. Or you can do the annual Mindvalley membership for five hundred dollars per year which gives you access to all of their masterclasses.

Vishen is running a new YouTube ad to promote this. He has the camera zoom in on his laptop to show his calendar. Each day is a series of colorful boxes chunking out time for certain activities. “I don’t really have a to-do list,” Vishen explains. “This is how I operate my life. It’s a complex calendar, but it shows what I do on any given day. Most people look at that calendar and they think that I am crazy busy.”

“I’m actually not,” he continues. “I’m crazy optimized. But one of the most unique things about how I work is I don’t have a to-do list. Absolutely zero. There is no set of to-do items I even think about. And it turns out that science actually says this is a far more effective way to operate your life if you’re playing at a big level. You do not need a to-do list. Rather, what you need is an optimized calendar.”

Vishen says he’s sharing this with you because this week on Mindvalley, they’re doing a deep dive on focus. The concept of indistractability. A word coined by best selling author Nir Eyal. And when Vishen has him on for a masterclass, he’ll explain why you should take your to-do list, tear it up, and throw it in the trash. Then replace it with a Google Calendar that looks as gorgeously-complex as Vishen’s.

Stop Procrastinating Mindvalley

“These ideas in this masterclass will probably save you two to three hours a week,” Vishen adds. “And this masterclass will deliver instant results. Check it out. Nir Eyal is an incredible teacher all of us need to be learning from.” With that, the YouTube ad winds down. Vishen tells you to click the link, head over to the Indistractable registration page, fill out your details, and attend.

Nir has an overview video in which he says, “There is no part of your life that doesn’t depend on your ability to focus your attention in order to do whatever it is you want to do; rather than having all kinds of outside influences manipulate your time and attention. I wrote the book Indistractable because I struggle with distraction in my own life. I decided if I could have any superpower, I would want the power to be indistractable.”

In this masterclass, Nir promises to teach you the four pillars to becoming indistractable, starting with those pesky internal triggers that lead you off track; how to make time for traction in your life; how to hack back all those external triggers; how to render your phone incapable of distracting you in under thirty seconds (no, it has nothing to do with putting it on silent mode); and finally, how to prevent distraction by using pacts. You could always just read Nir’s book and get the same information for a lot less money.
