Now can you tell a well-produced audio or video from one that’s poorly produced? Sure. But all the ones that are like 60-80% perfect? Are great.”
“Because, look, some of the podcasts I listen to? Guys and gals are in their car, driving. You can hear their muffler or whatever it is, you can hear the wind noise. I don’t care about that because I’m tuned into the message. I’m their ideal client. That’s what you need to find. Your message doesn’t need to be perfect for everybody. It just needs to fall on the right ears. So before you even think about elaborate marketing funnels or super expensive microphones, just focus on sharing your message and getting to $10k per month.”
You don’t need a free Facebook Group with 5,000 people in it. You don’t need to get distracted and go try dropshipping for a month. Then affiliate marketing. Then couch flipping. People can listen to your podcast wherever they like. Spotify, iTunes, SoundCloud, Podbean, wherever. You buy an $8 domain. Set up a simple one-page funnel like Sam. Shout that domain out at the beginning, middle, and end of every single podcast episode. And, whaddya know, people will show up to your little landing page and start booking calls. At that point, they’re practically sold. You hop on the phone with ’em, answer a few questions, run their credit card, and begin coaching them. Rinse, repeat.
