Pejman Ghadimi considers watch flipping the number one side hustle. If you appreciate a nice Rolex, Hublot, Audemars, or any other luxury watch brand, you know how expensive they can be. But the thing about them is, unlike, say, the Apple Watch, which drops in value big time the minute a new model comes out, luxury watches tend to hold their value really well. Some even go up in value over time.

Knowing this, and being a lover of fine timepieces, Pejman began investing in them many years back. Soon, he began flipping them for a profit. The better he got, the more he made. To the tune of, last year, alone, he claims to have profited a whopping $912,114 in his watch business. Pretty incredible.

And when you compare it to other popular side hustles, it does have its advantages. As Pejman points out, the stock market is crazy volatile. Cars require paperwork. (Although, that’s an odd thing to say considering he has another course he sells called Exotic Car Hacks, where he teaches you how to flip supercars.) Wholesaling houses requires lots of upfront capital or investors. And it’s highly-competitive. And, you know, the list goes on.

According to PJ, watch trading is a $5 billion dollar industry, and growing year over year. And yet, hardly anyone’s talking about it besides him. It’s recession-proof. You can start with a small budget. Work anytime, anywhere. You only need your phone and a laptop to do your due diligence. And you can do your first deal in a matter of days, he adds.

There’s a 14 day action-based guarantee. Basically, you can ask for a refund but you have to prove you went through the entire course and gave it your best shot. “Buyer’s remorse” does not qualify, Pejman warns.

Verdict? I’m a fan of Pejman Ghadimi and what he’s doing with Watch Trading Academy. It’s a refreshingly unique side hustle. Much different that the typical garbage that comes across your screen. And it’s a business watch fans won’t mind doing. Unfortunately, for me, watches aren’t my thing. So it’s not something I have any personal experience with. But WTA has a page overflowing with positive reviews. (Even if he did pay for the shoutout from Mr. Wonderful.)
